My Suekichi Watch, Take 2
After taking forever to finally obtain my first Suekichi watch, I couldn't wait for another nice one to come along. While some of the ones coming out now are not nearly as exciting as some of his 'best of', they are still quite impressive overall.
I found another person in Japan willing to check out the store every once in a while, and then sell it to me at a decent profit for himself. But, what can you do, short of flying to japan twice a month :). The store will *not* ship out of the country, so, it is very difficult to obtain these pieces.
This second Suekichi watch is smaller than the first, a little bit simpler, but still has a great presense. The details on it are fantastic. The dial is engraved, and then on top of that is a piece of clear plexi with the other numbers engraved in it, giving it a 3D feel. It is rather hard to capture in the photos.
